The Boodles rolls out the celebrity red carpet on final day
Jason Isaacs / Henry Patten d. Jason Flemyng / Charles Broom 10-7
The final day of The Boodles 2026 saw Hollywood actors Jason Isaacs and Jason Flemyng team up with British doubles players Henry Patten and Charles Broom in a fun-filled match on Stadium Court. Isaacs, known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films and Timothy Ratliff in season three of The White Lotus, partnered with World No.1 doubles player and reigning Wimbledon doubles champion Patten. Isaacs and Patten looked in control early on, but Broom's powerful serving helped Flemyng, star of 90s mega film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, stay in the match and keep the set competitive.
Henry Patten:
On if Jason Isaacs could replace regular partner Harri Heliovaara:
“No (laughs). He was unexpectedly good, the underarm serve, and his lob was very good. I think his movement could do with a bit of work. He got stuck in no man's land in front of the baseline a few times. Maybe with a few weeks of training, he could come along.”
On Wimbledon R1 draw:
“It’s not a bad draw (Terence Atmane and Luca Sanchez), there's a lot of matches that you want to avoid but every single match at Wimbledon is tough and you can’t take anything for granted. Our second round match is very difficult (Quentin Halys and Pierre-Hugues Herbert) so we will be taking it one match at a time.”
Jason Isaacs:
“It is a warm up event for Wimbledon which takes off the tension for many players but is a lot of fun for us. The grass and the conditions felt amazing. I could have done better, my back was a little bit stiff because I went golfing yesterday but nevertheless we still won. Tennis adds many years to people’s lives so taking it up was very important to me.”
Jason Flemying:
“I will never forget this experience, to be able to run around and I have the best team supporting me right now. I have only been playing tennis for three years and I have had the chance to experience this at The Boodles.”
Roberto Bautista-Agut d. Pablo Carreno Busta 3-6, 6-1, (10-3)

Roberto Bautista-Agut
“It’s nice to play at The Boodles, it is such a nice environment, the crowd is very involved with the tournament. It was great to play with Pablo as we have shared the court many times and now I have won, it was good preparation.”
On R1 draw with Joao Fonseca after having more matches on grass
“I am feeling great, I have prepared well and now need to recover well before the match. I am very motivated to do well in the first round.”
Pablo Carreno Busta
“I felt really good at the beginning, it was a pleasure to be back here at The Boodles. I hope to perform as I did for the first set at Wimbledon.”
On R1 draw at Wimbledon against Denis Shapovalov
“Really tough match, Denis (Shapovalov) is a really good player, when I play against him, I always perform well but perhaps on this surface, he is the favourite.”
Marcus Willis / David Stevenson d. Joshua Paris / Luca Sanchez 7-6 (9), 7-6 (6)

Marcus Willis / David Stevenson
“It was really good fun out there, the court is very quick as well as it being very hot conditions, so it made it even faster but even more fun to play. We got to play against a couple of friends from the tour which was great preparation leading into Wimbledon.”
On Wimbledon R1 draw against Ariel Behar and Joe Salisbury
“It is going to be tough, I know Joe (Salisbury) really well from university. I trained a lot with him and he has had an amazing career so far, it will be an interesting match up for us.”
Joshua Paris / Luca Sanchez
“It was really good out there today, it was loads of fun, a lot of people stayed out to watch and we had a really good time and it was good fun to play against some friends of ours as well. It was a really great experience and hopefully gives us some really good experience for Wimbledon.”
On playing with Terence Atmane at Wimbledon against Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara
“We are great friends and both very competitive, so we are going to have a great time. It is going to be a big match as we are playing against the world’s top ranked doubles players (Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara). However, we are going to prepare as much as we can to put in a strong performance.”
On Wimbledon R1 draw against Andrea Vavassori and Simone Bolelli
“It is nice to be home, I am playing with a fellow Brit and we have played a lot on grass this year - which they have not really done. I feel confident and they are going to have to deal with us in our home, in our element, which is nice and we will have the crowd, so I am looking forward to it.”
