Chris Wheeler - Executive Chef
A member of Craft Guilds of Chefs, Chris joined Stoke Park in 2003. His impressive culinary background includes the role of Group Head Chef and right-hand man to charismatic French chef Jean Christophe Novelli. With Novelli , Chris has worked in various Michelin-star winning restaurants and in 2005, Novelli invited Chris back to appear with him on TV's Hell's Kitchen 2.
Chris pays close attention to only using quality ingredients that are local, fresh and seasonal and has been delighting hotel guests, members and now the public with his innovative take on modern British cuisine with European influences. Due to this and the fact that our Dining Room offers a high standard of food and service, has aided in Stoke Park's achievement of gaining two AA Rosettes in April 2010 and regular plaudits from the press, with the Daily Express recently commenting ' The Dining Room is faultless, the food is superb.'
